Analytical equations and methods for aquifer test analysis
Non-steady state equation (Hantush's solution) depending on time and geological option.
where
Laplace transform solution (without time limits):
In addition, Moench’s solutions for drawdown in the main aquifer and aquitards are included in the program. The solutions take into account position of the observation well within the semipervious layer (aquitard), storage capacity of the pumping well and skin effect. Moench’s solutions describe the entire diagnostic graph. DP_LAQ code is used for calculation (Moench, 1990). See: Moench A.F. Transient flow to a large-diameter well in an aquifer with storative semiconfining layers // Water Resources Research. 1985. Vol. 21, N 8. P. 1121–1131.
Laplace transform solution for observation well: and for pumping well
Methods of analysis and parameters being estimated
For Moench’s solutions it may be needed to specify such parameters as casing radius of the pumping well, skin hydraulic conductivity and thickness.
